Restaurant Aunty Lee, Melaka

On the way to JB, I purposely stop by Melaka to seek for nice food , again I visited the Restaurant Aunty Lee - the nyonya restaurant.

I had visited this restaurant on last year, now again come back to here. The restaurant is expanding from one shop to become two shop. I feel a bit disappointed to the food after second time visit. Do not know isn't cause by the mood or because of Aunty Lee's cooking skills. I found that the food is not expected as I been before.

Restaurant Nyonya Curry House

I like nyonya food but all the times the price for nyonya food is expensive. Today I went to try a nyonya food at the lobby level of Histana Hotel , Klang.

Home Made Thai Style Tauhu , soft and delicious RM8

Inchi Cabin Chicken , It is fried with ginger and onion, nice ! RM12

Curry Fish Meat , too sour and spicy when you eat during hot, RM30

这是一家很家庭式的娘惹餐厅，一位欧巴桑在前厅招待，另一位欧巴桑，也就是李妈妈在厨房做菜。要到这餐厅吃饭，不可以心急，凡事都要慢慢等待，慢慢品尝。可是食物真的是很家庭式的口味，和我以前去的娘惹餐厅不一样。

以前去的娘惹餐厅，食物是那种好像冷冻食品一样，大量生产的，千篇一律。而李妈妈的食物都是很用心去煮出来，有妈妈家里的味道。

This restaurant is quite family style. Only got 1 waitress and 1 chef. So, to have the meal here , you can't be rush, slowly waiting and taste it. The food here like family style, it is different with the nyonya restaurant which last time I been. Those nyonya restaurant which I been , the food all like produce in bulk, or ready made. While this restaurant you can taste the different, taste like mum cook or family taste. The chef is putting the effort.

Ayam Limau Purut -RM9.50 and Otak-Otak RM10 , The chicken is sour and spicy, very nice. And the Otak otak is soft and taste good too.

Terung Goreng Lada - RM10, The eggplant is fried and on top with black pepper, NICE!
